Samuel is an experienced and versatile musician, and enjoys a busy freelance career across the UK and beyond. As well as working with some of the leading orchestras in the country, he regularly works and tours with many other artists and bands including Goldfrapp, Katherine Jenkins, Blake and ABBA The Show.

Recent session work, television and radio broadcasts include recordings for Chandos and BBC Radio 3 with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra and BBC National Orchestra of Wales; BBC Electric Proms with the National Symphony Orchestra; and Chinese Central Television New Year Concert live broadcasts.

Sam is also a keen recitalist, performing regularly as a soloist or chamber musician, and in addition to his other freelance work, Sam plays with and part-manages the Bryden String Quartet, a highly-regarded ensemble available for session work and events across London and the rest of the UK.
